In arguing for a universal science, Karl R. Popper & his followers do not recognize the relationships & differences among the physical, biological, & human sciences; eg, these fields use several scientific methods, due to the diversity of their respective topics. Often, in the course of scientific advancement, models of processes & configurations have played a central role without having been conceptually established. Skeptics may argue that realistic models are not possible; however, mankind would not have survived if it had not possessed the ability to orient itself in its world realistically & act accordingly. 7 References.
